The Greys Residence
Date: Fall 2025
Tools: Revit and Enscape
Set on an oceanview lot in El Sahel, Egypt, the Greys Residence was designed for Mark, an executive chef, and Diana, a life coach, a couple in their late thirties. The goal was to create a serene, comfortable home that supports both demanding work lives and personal wellbeing, with a spacious kitchen designed for culinary innovation, a dedicated meditation space, and two separate hobby-focused spaces: a music room and a home office to support creative routines and everyday balance.
The design blends a country-style farmhouse aesthetic with a contemporary edge. A neutral palette of layered beiges, subtle earth tones, and gold accents brings natural warmth, while light textiles such as linen and chiffon create an airy feel balanced by rustic details like exposed wood beams and herringbone flooring.
The Greys Residence was developed for a Revit-focused course and served as an expansion of our first-year residential project, drawing inspiration from the original concept while pushing the design further. The primary goal was to learn and apply Revit tools and workflows, with Enscape used for the walkthrough, and the remaining renderings produced in Revit.
